The Latin American Sanitation Conference (Latinosan) is an event organized every three years since 2007 to promote access to quality and sustainable sanitation services in Latin America and the Caribbean. The event brings together political leaders from countries in the region, as international exhibitors and is supported by international organizations. The Latinosan conference is also part of the initiatives to achieve Goal 6 of the Sustainable Development Goals. The San José Declaration derived from the Latinosan 2019 Conference establishes the commitment of the countries to create the OLAS.
