RID-OLAS is a mechanism of the Latin American and the Caribbean Observatory for Water and Sanitation that seeks to promote and facilitate the collaboration between researchers from universities, R&D centers, NGOs and Think Tanks in order to strengthen applied research, promote scientific dissemination and the formulation of public policies based on science around the advancement of the SDGs in water and sanitation in the region.
The Network has the support and commitment of public and private, national and international entities, which will make it possible to link the scientific and academic production of the members with the knowledge needs of the water and sanitation sector (W&S) in the Latin American and the Caribbean region (LAC). Members will have the opportunity to join the OLAS community and actively contribute with solutions to the challenges in W&S.
